PA (Nylon), a popular engineering plastic, is a synthetic polymer widely used due to its excellent mechanical properties, stiffness, toughness, shock absorption and resistance to wear.
Applications: Gears, bearings, thin-walled parts, screws, structural parts, pump parts, cameras.
Behavior: Nylon is very vulnerable to moisture, and can be more likely to suffer warping caused by a non-linear shrink.
